Job Summary:

The Data Scientist will be responsible for managing data science workflows and MLOps on the Databricks platform. This position focuses on model deployment, reusability, containerization, and ensuring orchestration using CI/CD pipelines. The role involves leveraging machine learning, NLP, and big data techniques to provide insights, while maintaining platform efficiency for downstream data science teams.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Utilize machine learning, NLP, and big data techniques to extract valuable insights from data.
• Manage and maintain the data science platform, ensuring data availability for downstream teams.
• Design and enhance machine learning models focusing on performance and scalability.
• Develop re-deployable and containerized models for reusability.
• Oversee and maintain model pipelines on the Databricks platform.
• Ensure that all models adhere to security, compliance, and PII management requirements.
• Follow Agile development practices, version control, and SDLC best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Advanced degree (MS or PhD preferred) in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
• Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages.
• Experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Understanding of distributed computing with Spark/Scala.

Role-specific Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with Databricks and MLFlow.
• Proficient in Kubernetes and cloud platform engineering.
• Expertise in containerization and orchestration (Airflow, CI/CD pipelines).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, version control (Git), and SDLC practices.
