Data Security And Protection Technical Project Manager (Remote)

We are looking for talented individuals to join our team as Technical Project Manager in Information Security at AQUASoft in Bangalore, India. However, the ideal candidate can work from any location within India. Occasional travel to the client’s office is required.

Essential Knowledge

Experience: 10+ years in data protection, information security, and project management.

Expertise: Proven track record of managing enterprise-level data protection projects and building relationships with senior and executive stakeholders.

In-depth knowledge of advanced data privacy and protection technologies, risk assessment, threat and vulnerability management, and security measures. Comprehensive understanding of data protection and information security domains, including technical measures, policy procedures, compliance, risk management, and incident response. Strong expertise in implementing and managing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions. Extensive experience working in a banking environment with a thorough understanding of key regulations and standards, such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GDPR, and other data protection frameworks. Develops and implements robust data protection strategies to address risks and compliance requirements while leveraging advanced technologies to strengthen security.

Project Management: Leads cross-functional teams to successfully deliver data protection initiatives on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational objectives. Aligns data protection and information security with broader business strategies to enhance competitive advantage. Articulates the value of data protection investments to executives and stakeholders, advocating for necessary resources and support.

Advanced knowledge of evolving tech stacks and related risks from a data protection perspective. Expertise in conducting risk assessments and management processes. Strong interpersonal, analytical, and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Certifications (Preferred but not Mandatory): CISSP, PMP, CCSP, CompTIA Security+, CIPT, CISM, etc.
