Data Sme Technical Project Manager (Remote)

We are seeking a dedicated Technical Project Manager with a strong focus on data to spearhead and manage extensive data-driven projects throughout our organization. You will utilize your knowledge in data architecture, governance, and analytics to oversee significant data migrations and integrations. By collaborating with diverse teams, you will ensure timely project deliveries that meet budgetary constraints and align with our strategic data objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete project lifecycle for data-centric initiatives, encompassing data migration, integration, and governance.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, and backlog refinement to promote enhanced team collaboration and efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure all project efforts align with business goals and technical criteria.
• Monitor and manage project timelines, budgets, and potential risks to guarantee successful execution.
• Create and maintain program roadmaps that align with business priorities and technological strategies.
• Effectively communicate with the Program Management Office and transformation teams to synchronize efforts and provide updates.
• Review projects to ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices in data governance, and security measures.

Required Skills

• Profound understanding of data architecture, governance, and analytics tools (e.g., SQL, ETL processes, cloud data platforms).
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, fostering robust relationships.
• Expertise in developing and sustaining detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocation for intricate programs.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Experience in risk management, dependency tracking, and resolving issues within technical projects.
• Prior experience with Smartsheet is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years managing data-oriented projects, emphasizing migrations and integrations.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is advantageous.
• Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile) are an asset.
• Proven experience in establishing and maintaining standards, reporting, and dashboards within Jira for a minimum of 5 years.
