Delivery Lead (Remote)

The role

Reporting to the Delivery Manager, the Delivery Lead will support the end-to-end delivery of projects & initiatives supported by one of our Infrastructure technical teams. You will collaborate with team leads, team members and stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes are delivered. 

Position Accountabilities

• Support the team to ensure clear understanding, planning, and delivery of initiatives.
• Monitor incoming work and engage early with the team.
• Lead and mentor teams, providing guidance on delivery practices to meet performance goals.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks with contingency plans.
• Achieve objectives and exceed stakeholder expectations through effective project management and communication.
• Build strong, trusted relationships with business and customer groups.
• Model high performance standards, influence teams positively, and support the company’s vision and culture.
• Coach the team on continuous improvement, planning accuracy, and early value delivery.
• Organise and facilitate team meetings to enhance collaboration and progress.
• Assist in coaching for improved delivery maturity.
• Provide transparency in delivery by reporting effectively.

What experience you’ll bring

• Strong leadership and technical skills with expertise in project management methodologies.
• Proven experience as a Delivery Lead, Project Manager, or similar in a tech environment.
• Knowledge of technical infrastructure functions (Network & Hardware Management, System Administration, Security Management, Backup and Disaster Recovery, Monitoring and Performance Tuning)
• Deep knowledge of delivery methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, waterfall etc.).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team motivation skills.
• Exceptional organisational and time-management abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Experience with adaptive planning.
