Delivery Manager Workload Services (Remote)

In order to meet this need, the Snowflake Professional Services and Training (PS&T) organization has created an incubation team in Workload Services (WLS). The WLS team is tasked with bringing new solutions and service offerings to market. Areas of focus include migrations and modernization, data applications, data clean rooms, and data science. This role may work on projects across any combination of these functions.

As a Delivery Manager in our Workload Services team, you will use your exceptional customer management and risk mitigation skills to ensure successful project outcomes. This role requires a combination of expertise across project management, issue management, people management, and schedule management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage client projects through proactive and effective communication related to status, issues, risks, and project outcomes
• Lead meetings and document actions, risks, open items
• Engage strategically with clients to ensure that project objectives, business case, and other key items are met – viewed as a key customer advisor
• Coordinate development of technical strategy/approach/implementation plan for Snowflake and partner resources
• Determine areas for process improvements within both the client and Snowflake
• Manage resources to ensure utilization and revenue targets for projects are met

OUR IDEAL DELIVERY MANAGER WILL HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience
• 8+ years of experience in a Services Delivery role (or similar capacity) dealing with complex, technical implementation projects
• An understanding of deployment methodologies and when to apply waterfall, Agile, or a hybrid method
• Ability to anticipate project roadblocks and have mitigation plans in-hand
• Experience in the Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, AI/ML, application modernization, or Cloud projects
• Proven track-record of results with multi-party, multi-year digital transformation engagements
• Proven ability to communicate and translate effectively across multiple groups from design and engineering to client executives and technical leaders
• Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Outstanding skills presenting to both technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations
• Ability and flexibility to travel to work with customers on-site up to 25% of the time

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

• The estimated base salary range for this role is $116,000 – $156,400.
• Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
