Key Responsibilities
- Master the art of demand forecasting by examining sales data, market trends, and seasonal fluctuations to accurately predict future requirements.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to pinpoint cost-saving opportunities and optimize operational efficiency.
- Spearhead the transition to a new ERP system, ensuring a seamless implementation with minimal disruption.
- Formulate advanced statistical and business models to forecast demand and inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to ensure alignment and shared goals.
- Monitor essential metrics and continuously refine demand planning processes to maintain a competitive edge.
- Mentor and guide team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and data-informed decision making.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical capabilities with a focus on demand forecasting.
- Proficient in statistical and business modeling techniques.
- Experience with ERP systems and demand planning software.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to convert complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Proactive problem-solving approach, effectively addressing challenges.
Qualifications
- A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a demand planning capacity, ideally within the manufacturing sector.
- APICS CPIM certification preferred, or in the process of obtaining it.
- Demonstrated success in managing ERP migrations and driving operational improvements.
- Familiarity with various forecasting models, including ARIMA and exponential smoothing.
