Role Purpose
This is an SCM role, with activities that includes SCM Target Settings, KPI’s Governance, Operational process improvement, Quality assurance and Reporting Governance.
Responsible for Supply Chain Targets settings, budget analysis, cost components analysis, Operational Process performance, driving global standardization, delivering continuous improvement, addressing and promoting user experience and maintaining the local SCM governance infrastructure. Also to manage the relationship with key Vodafone stakeholders and Group system owners in the Vodafone Procurement Company.
Responsible for building structured cost breakdown which is a key enabler for Procurement team for efficient negotiations with Vendors
Plays a key role in setting the Budget assumptions to be considered while building the Budget in addition to tracking the Actuals versus Plans across the year
Role is active member of the local Supply Chain Team & the Regional Operations Community taking on and driving Key Global and Local strategic projects from concept to deployment, integrating business requirements and associated processes. Always ensuring standardization, alignment & consistence.
Key Accountabilities & Decision Ownership
Demand Planning Network & ITE:
– Supply Chain owner to verify and plan the unit cost used to build the Network, IT and Enterprise budget and to make sure that the inflation factors and any other industry factors are taken into consideration.
– Bottom-up budget planning to identify the Savings opportunities and the CMS, Terms of payment and any other SCM KPI’s
– Verify the group top-down targets and assess its applicability compared to the last year performance and the bottom-up target settings
– Develop the SCM Targets per each category manager in the team and performance governance for each team member across the fiscal year
– Setting the key strategic projects in the domain and develop a project plan to ensure that the project is running on time
– Governance for the KPI’s progress across the year by setting the governance strategy for the local management and the Group management
– Work closely with the finance and business teams to achieve the finance targets, and saving targets
– Facilitate continuous process improvement by conducting process health checks, Global benchmarks, identify opportunities, support quality reviews, and validate change requests
– Able to deconstruct and analyse processes, producing effective outcomes via the creation of and use of visual representation of captured data.
– Able to communicate and present insights and efficiently using statistics and/or graphical representation.
– Make recommendations and enable decisions that can be directly linked to SCM and the wider business objectives.
– Accountable for process efficiency through recommendations as (Robots, systems, radical simplification of process)
– To act as the SCM business owner for SCM content ensuring it is maintained, kept up to date and developed in line with changes to the way Supply Chain and the wider business operates.
Requirements:
Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience:
– Relevant University degree
– Strong stakeholders Management skills
– Very Good Analytical & presentation skills
– Good understanding of Supply Chain processes (supplier management, procure to pay)
– High level of communication and negotiation skills
– Experience working with virtual teams (Shared services and other group functions)
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
– High Analytical skills
– High Presentation Skills
– Experience in Budget planning and Project Management
– Excel & PowerPoint skills is a must
– Power BI, SQL & automation knowledge & hands on experience is a plus
– Decision support experience is a plus
