First Intuition is a fast-growing premier provider of accountancy training and apprenticeships. Due to our growing business, we require a Deputy Content and Marking Manager to join our expanding team. This role offers great long-term prospects for the right candidate.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Assisting the content and marking manager in:
- Overseeing production to ensure consistency, quality, and that deadlines are met.
- Processing updates and overseeing the building of courses in our online system, Totara.
- Overseeing the work with printers to ensure that the correct products are available in the correct timeframes.
- Overseeing the co-ordination of our marking function to ensure marking schedules are robust and processes are established and followed.
- Engaging face to face with our operations teams to establish systems that ensure efficiency of marking.
- Engaging face to face with internal marking ‘clients’ both on Teams calls and with a willingness to travel to other offices, with a view to embedding process and bringing people with you.
- Assisting with the management of the educational resources team, helping others to develop skills and grow.
- Assisting with day-to-day tasks in the team as required.
- Identifying training needs and delivering live and recorded training.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
Essential:
- A strong communicator, who can clearly communicate both inside and outside of the business to ensure processes are followed and expectations managed.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced commercial educational environment with multiple stakeholders and an ability to bring the various stakeholders with you.
- Willingness to attend and contribute to meetings with external stakeholders, either in person or on Teams.
- Experience of leading and helping others to develop their skills with a willingness to deliver both real time and recorded training both in person and over Teams.
- Ability to represent and champion the educational resources team both internally and externally.
- Ability to work autonomously, make decisions and deliver to deadlines.
- Systematic with an attention to detail resulting in a high level of accuracy in work performed.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong systems skills with ability to work within LMS system, Totara (FI Learn).
- Willingness to help with other duties within the Education Team at busy times.
Desirable:
- Understanding of the accountancy sector
