The Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Design Coordinator/Architectural Technician with at least 2 – 5 years’ experience, you will play a key role in overseeing the design process, from obtaining client briefs to delivering detailed designs for a variety of projects in the architectural field. Â
In this role, you will develop design solutions, produce drawing documentation suitable for tendering and construction, ensure quality and safety requirements are met. You’ll collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, and subcontractors, helping manage and coordinate project designs through 3D Revit software.Â
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing detailed plans and ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing external partnerships
- Supporting business development through documentation and proposal management
To be successful, you should have experience with AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, and a strong understanding of construction and building regulations, including the Building Code of Australia and Australian Standards.
