Position Overview

We’re seeking an experienced DevOps Consultant to join our team, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to enhance our deployment and operational practices. This role involves working closely with our development and operations teams to implement automated solutions, improve CI/CD pipelines, and ensure the reliability and scalability of our applications. As a DevOps Consultant, you will play a crucial role in driving our projects forward, optimizing our workflows, and ensuring the highest levels of performance and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for a wide range of projects.
• Automate operational processes using scripts and other automation tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the development lifecycle.
• Conduct system troubleshooting and problem-solving across platform and application domains.
• Ensure critical system security through the use of best-in-class cloud security solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, applying them to improve our operations.

Technical Requirements

• Extensive experience with automation software (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Ansible).
• Proficient in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python).
• Familiarity with cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Understanding of network, security, and database administration best practices.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role, with a proven track record of improving deployment and operational processes.
• Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.

Working Hours

• This is a full-time position requiring a commitment to a standard schedule, with options for either 9 AM – 5 PM or 10 AM – 6 PM working hours.
