Who You Are

We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing our continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our infrastructure, and collaborating closely with development and operations teams to streamline our software delivery process.

What You’ll Do

– Participate in the design and implementation of automated solutions for building and deploying developed software to production and non-production environments.
– Participate in the design of hosting solutions for deployed software focusing on availability and scalability.
– Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
– Manage and automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
– Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and security.
– Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot build and deployment issues.
– Implement and maintain containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
– Develop and maintain scripts for automation of repetitive tasks.
– Participate in on-call rotations for incident response and resolution.
– Assist with guiding development teams on best practices pertaining to achieving DevOps goals.
– Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in DevOps and cloud infrastructure.

What You’ll Need

– A minimum of 4+ years of experience as a DevOps role, with exposure to designing and implementing automated software delivery pipelines focusing on continuous integration and deployment (i.e., Azure DevOps).
– Exceptional problem solving, and analytical skills required for delivering solutions within deadlines.
– Proficiency in version control and code documentation (i.e., Git, SVN)
– Deep understanding of algorithms and data structures
– Strong understanding of cloud platforms, with a preference for Azure.
– Experience in designing and deploying applications in cloud environments.
– Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (i.e., PowerShell, YAML, C#, Bicep, Python)
– Familiarity with containerization technologies (i.e., Docker, Kubernetes) and their use in achieving scalable and portable software deployments.
– Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
