Digital Marketing Business Development Manager (BDM)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Digital Marketing Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our growing team. The BDM will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, driving digital marketing sales, and establishing long-term client relationships. You will be responsible for generating leads, managing the sales pipeline, and helping clients achieve their business objectives through our innovative digital marketing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development:
- Identify and target new clients in need of digital marketing services, including SEO, SEM, content marketing, social media marketing, paid media, web development, and other digital solutions.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential leads and opportunities.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities within the digital marketing landscape.
- Develop and present proposals, RFPs, and digital marketing strategies tailored to client needs.
- Sales & Relationship Management:
- Engage with senior stakeholders and decision-makers to understand their business challenges and digital marketing needs.
- Create compelling presentations and sales pitches to attract and retain clients.
- Close deals and negotiate contracts, ensuring alignment between client requirements and service offerings.
- Foster long-term relationships with key clients, acting as the main point of contact throughout the engagement.
- Client Onboarding & Strategy Development:
- Collaborate with the internal marketing and creative teams to develop tailored digital marketing strategies for clients.
- Ensure smooth onboarding for new clients, providing excellent service and clear communication about timelines, deliverables, and expectations.
- Continuously monitor and track the performance of digital marketing campaigns for clients.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the digital marketing team (SEO specialists, PPC experts, content creators, etc.) to ensure the successful delivery of campaigns.
- Coordinate with the product and technology teams to ensure the digital marketing solutions align with the company’s capabilities.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of all business development activities in the CRM system.
- Provide regular updates on the status of sales opportunities and forecasts.
- Report on key metrics such as lead generation, conversion rates, and client satisfaction.
- Industry & Product Expertise:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in digital marketing.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of digital marketing tactics and the ability to discuss complex digital strategies with potential clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing sales/business development, with a proven track record of securing new business.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, and analytics.
- Experience selling digital marketing services to both SMBs and enterprise clients.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of digital marketing tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, HubSpot, etc., is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role in a digital marketing agency or technology company.
- Established network within the digital marketing or advertising industry.
- Experience with paid media platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.) and analytics tools.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 – ₹28,000.00 per month
