Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Digital Marketing Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our growing team. The BDM will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, driving digital marketing sales, and establishing long-term client relationships. You will be responsible for generating leads, managing the sales pipeline, and helping clients achieve their business objectives through our innovative digital marketing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development:
  • Identify and target new clients in need of digital marketing services, including SEO, SEM, content marketing, social media marketing, paid media, web development, and other digital solutions.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of potential leads and opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities within the digital marketing landscape.
  • Develop and present proposals, RFPs, and digital marketing strategies tailored to client needs.
  • Sales & Relationship Management:
  • Engage with senior stakeholders and decision-makers to understand their business challenges and digital marketing needs.
  • Create compelling presentations and sales pitches to attract and retain clients.
  • Close deals and negotiate contracts, ensuring alignment between client requirements and service offerings.
  • Foster long-term relationships with key clients, acting as the main point of contact throughout the engagement.
  • Client Onboarding & Strategy Development:
  • Collaborate with the internal marketing and creative teams to develop tailored digital marketing strategies for clients.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding for new clients, providing excellent service and clear communication about timelines, deliverables, and expectations.
  • Continuously monitor and track the performance of digital marketing campaigns for clients.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the digital marketing team (SEO specialists, PPC experts, content creators, etc.) to ensure the successful delivery of campaigns.
  • Coordinate with the product and technology teams to ensure the digital marketing solutions align with the company’s capabilities.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of all business development activities in the CRM system.
  • Provide regular updates on the status of sales opportunities and forecasts.
  • Report on key metrics such as lead generation, conversion rates, and client satisfaction.
  • Industry & Product Expertise:
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in digital marketing.
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of digital marketing tactics and the ability to discuss complex digital strategies with potential clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing sales/business development, with a proven track record of securing new business.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, and analytics.
  • Experience selling digital marketing services to both SMBs and enterprise clients.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, HubSpot, etc., is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role in a digital marketing agency or technology company.
  • Established network within the digital marketing or advertising industry.
  • Experience with paid media platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.) and analytics tools.
