Job Overview:

The Director of Marketing is a dynamic and strategic leader responsible for driving the overall marketing strategy to promote brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the marketing department, including branding, digital marketing, product marketing, public relations, and content development. The Director of Marketing will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage external partners, and ensure that marketing initiatives align with the company’s business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with company goals and enhances brand visibility and positioning.
  • Brand Management: Lead initiatives to maintain and evolve the company’s brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Event Planning and Management: Oversee all conference and event efforts, including both prospective conferences and client council and prospect events.
  • Digital Marketing: Oversee all digital marketing efforts, including SEO/SEM, social media, email campaigns, content marketing, and online advertising.
  • Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to guide marketing efforts.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Content Strategy: Guide the development of content strategies for all platforms, ensuring compelling storytelling and engagement.
  • Campaign Management: Lead the planning, execution, and performance analysis of multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and tracking ROI for all marketing activities.
  • Public Relations: Build and maintain relationships with media outlets and influencers, managing PR initiatives to boost the company’s public profile.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, sales, and customer success teams to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Use data and analytics to measure the success of marketing campaigns, making data-driven decisions to optimize future efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the stop-loss or pharmacy benefits industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, branding, and market research.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring a marketing team.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in marketing.
  • Salary will be relative to experience and other factors.
