About the Position: District Manager(DM)- Lake Erie
*Must live within the district (see below)
*This first-line management role is dedicated to leading a team of 7-9 sales specialist within HCP and some psychiatry practices.
Geography (subject to change): Rochester, Elmira, Jamestown, Williamsport, Buffalo, Erie, Youngstown, Canton,
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop regional sales teams for high-impact customer interactions and strong sales performance
- Inspire accountability, creativity, and engagement within the team.
- Exceed sales forecasts and operate within budgets.
- Communicate and embody the company’s vision of improving lives of neuropsychiatric patients.
- Recruit, hire and develop team members fostering a high-performance team built on trust, collaboration, and ethical behavior.
- Ensure reps meet/exceed training targets (product knowledge, competition, disease management) and share best practices.
- Lead strategic analysis to identify growth opportunities and adapt activities to local market dynamics while collaborating with other departments (Managed Markets, Medical Affairs etc).
- Oversee customer interactions and budget management within the assigned region.
- Conduct regular field visits to assess performance and provide coaching, feedback, and development support
- Develop and execute local business plans with the Area Sales Director, ensuring achievement of KPIs and sales objectives.
Job Requirements (including but not limited to):
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience (CNS and launch experience preferred).
- 2+ years of field sales management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience with KOLs (especially within psychiatry), organized customers, and managed care organizations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and decision-making skills.
- Strong understanding of neuroscience customer segments and market dynamics.
- Proficient in business analytics and tracking progress against objectives.
- Ability to manage administrative duties and some overnight travel.
