Job Description

Make your mark as Diving Operations Lead for Boskalis Subsea Services located in Aberdeen or Sunderland. You will provide Operational Guidance to BSS Project Teams on diving operations to ensure compliance with Regulatory Requirements, BSS Procedures, Industry Guidance, and Client requirements. Further, you will provide project teams with diving operations support/advice, generate and review project specific diving operational documentation and provide support during diving emergencies and incident investigations.

Your Responsibilities As a Diving Operations Lead

  • Ensure compliance with Regulatory Standards, BSS Procedures, Industry Guidance and Client requirements.
  • Participate in the audits of the diving management system, diving systems and procedures.
  • Participate in the BSS risk assessment process.
  • Provide advice on the safe implementation of barriers and isolations.
  • Conduct offshore diving quality assurance reviews when required.

Qualifications

You can make your mark as a Diving Operations Lead if you have/are:

  • Previous relevant experience in offshore diving operations – minimum 10 years.
  • Recognised commercial saturation diving qualifications and qualification(s) in a relevant engineering or operational discipline (degree level preferred)
  • Offshore Survival/BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS, MIST and OGUK Medical.
  • Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. IMechE), and/or relevant H&S qualification (e.g. IOSH, NEBOSH).
  • Fully conversant with Diving Regulatory Standards (e.g. UK HSE), Diving Industry Guidance (e.g. IMCA), Diving Industry Standards (e.g. IOGP), Health & Safety Management Systems, Risk Management techniques, incident investigation techniques and audit processes/techniques.
  • Competent in underwater operations, subsea operations and engineering.

  • Full/part- time job: The position of Diving Operations Leadis full time, 35 hours per week.
