Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Drupal Developer with at least 5 years of professional experience to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Drupal Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining complex Drupal-based websites and applications. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, an excellent problem solver, and has a deep understanding of Drupal architecture, development best practices, and modern web technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drupal Development: Build and customize Drupal websites, modules, and themes, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure coding standards are met.
• Module Development: Develop custom modules and plugins to meet specific business requirements.
• Site Optimization: Optimize Drupal websites for performance and scalability, including front-end and back-end development.
• API Integration: Implement and integrate third-party APIs and services with Drupal applications.
• Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues related to Drupal websites, including performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and bugs.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure project success.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Write unit tests and work with QA teams to ensure software quality and stability.
• Stay Current: Keep up to date with the latest Drupal features, updates, and best practices to ensure the development of cutting-edge solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with Drupal development (Drupal 8, 9, and/or 10).
• Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and Drupal-specific technologies (e.g., custom modules, Views, Drush, Composer).
• Front-end development skills: Solid experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including jQuery), and modern front-end frameworks.
• Experience with Drupal APIs: Profound knowledge of Drupal’s hooks, entities, and theming systems.
• Database management: Strong understanding of MySQL databases, including schema design, optimization, and migrations.
• Version Control: Experience with Git and other version control systems.
• Experience with Drupal Commerce is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Drupal security best practices and the ability to implement security measures.
• API Integration: Knowledge of integrating external APIs (RESTful, SOAP) into Drupal.
• Experience with deployment and CI/CD pipelines is desirable.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Agile Development: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Pantheon).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies.
• Experience working in a DevOps environment.
• Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Drupal certification is a plus but not required.
