As the Product Manager for Digital Experience, you will report to the Director of Digital Product, concentrating on steering the vision and development of the public website while collaborating closely with content teams to maintain a unified web presence. Your involvement will be crucial in shaping the strategy and delivery of the digital experience platform (DXP) team’s projects.
Key Responsibilities
You will take ownership of:
- Managing the product lifecycle from discovery to delivery, converting high-level business objectives and user requirements into precise specifications for development teams.
- Creating product roadmaps that align with strategic goals, monitoring progress through KPIs and OKRs, and ensuring the achievement of key targets.
- Conducting market research to stay abreast of trends, ensuring that the product remains relevant and anticipates future demands.
- Promoting a culture of collaboration by sharing product development best practices across the team.
- Deepening your understanding of user and institutional needs to inform decisions and enhance the digital experience effectively.
- Tracking and refining key project metrics to optimize their impact and efficiency.
Required Skills
- A Bachelor’s degree in technology, business, psychology, or a related field, or a minimum of 5 years as a product owner in technology/digital media, with at least 3 years of direct experience considered in the education and experience combination.
- Proficiency in content management systems (e.g., Drupal, Content Cafe, Contentful) and familiarity with Scrum methodologies, specifically in writing User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, coupled with a collaborative mindset when working with both technical and non-technical teams.
Qualifications
- A deep understanding of digital strategy and execution, ensuring effective service delivery to patrons.
- Experience in collaborating with Design, Technology, and Project Management teams to maintain alignment on digital objectives.
- Ability to conduct comprehensive market and competitive analysis, evaluating trends and user needs.
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills to regularly update project goals and findings across relevant departments.

Additional Information
- The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 9 am-5 pm (35 hours per week).
- A hybrid work setting necessitating three days in-office per week.
