Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical aspects of the migration from Genesys to Dynamics 365 Contact Center, ensuring the solution aligns with business goals.
  • Analyze the existing Genesys setup and design equivalent or improved solutions within D365 Contact Center.
  • Oversee and guide the integration of telephony systems (e.g., voice, IVR) and omnichannel communication tools with D365.
  • Customize and configure Dynamics 365 to support workflows, case management, and customer service processes, leveraging Power Platform where necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Power Platform team and developers to implement required customizations and integrations.
  • Act as the subject matter expert, providing guidance and mentoring to internal team members with limited contact center experience.
  • Ensure the successful migration of data from Genesys to D365, maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
  • Provide technical support during user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring that the system functions according to business requirements.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager, focusing on the technical delivery, while the PM handles overall project coordination and timelines.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Knowledge of Dynamics 365 Contact Center with experience in configuring, customizing, and implementing D365 Contact Center solutions.
  • Migration experience with a proven track record migrating from Genesys (or similar platforms) to Dynamics 365.
  • Knowledge of telephony integration, including voice, IVR, and omnichannel systems with Dynamics 365.
  • Ability to configure workflows and automate processes using D365 and Power Platform tools like Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Experience in planning and executing data migrations from Genesys to Dynamics 365, ensuring accuracy.
  • Ability to guide and mentor team members with limited contact center experience.
  • Familiarity with testing strategies and UAT, providing technical oversight during these phases.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with technical teams, stakeholders, and project managers.

Preferred:

  • Dynamics 365 Certifications.
  • Experience with Azure services.
  • Previous involvement in large-scale migrations and implementations.
