Although we’re headquartered in Cambridge, we are staffed by around 70% permanently remote employees that are located all over the UK. All of our team members are full time employees. Job Summary An Account Strategist is the day-to-day client account owner that takes responsibility for making sure that agreed growth tasks are delivered on time and to the exacting specification required to fulfil their particular requirement / merchant brief. An Account Strategist will own a number of BAO’s retained Strategic Programme merchants and build strong, value based relationships with key stakeholders of those merchants. Working alongside the roadmap creator (Strategic Director / Head of Merchant Strategy) to help formulate ideas, understand task requirements and is then responsible for liaising with the internal BAO team to scope, progress, and deliver final outcomes. Who we’re looking for The BAO Strategy Team works alongside some of the fastest growing and most ambitious brands in the Shopify eco-system. Operating as an extension of internal resource, our Strategic Team works with businesses to find solutions whatever their challenges. We guide strategic direction, implement development roadmaps and oversee them through production to market. This role sits within this rapidly expanding team, working alongside our Senior Team to contribute to the smooth running of the Strategic team, by taking responsibility for the delivery of bespoke roadmaps. The Account Strategist should be able to manage feedback loops with clients, and understand where further solutions scoping may be needed in order to deliver the best outcome for the merchant. Additionally, the Account Strategist will ensure agency resources are allocated appropriately, based on requirements detailed within the merchants growth roadmap.
