Ecommerce Shipping Coordinator (Remote)

Job Summary:

The Ecommerce Shipping Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the ecommerce shipping process, ensuring that orders are processed, packed, and shipped efficiently and accurately. This role is crucial to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of shipping processes within an ecommerce environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Order Fulfillment:

Monitor incoming ecommerce orders, prioritize, and process them in a timely manner.

Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate picking, packing, and shipping of orders.

Shipping & Logistics:

Arrange and schedule shipments with various carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.) to ensure timely delivery.

Prepare and print shipping labels, invoices, and packing slips.

Track shipments and resolve any issues related to delayed or lost packages.

Inventory Management:

Assist in monitoring stock levels to ensure products are available for shipping.

Communicate with the inventory team to report any discrepancies or stock shortages.

Customer Service:

Provide order tracking information to customers and handle inquiries related to shipping status, delays, or issues.

Work closely with the customer service team to address any order or shipping concerns.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of all shipments, returns, and exchanges.

Generate reports on shipping activities, costs, and delivery performance to identify areas for improvement.

Process Improve

Identify and implement improvements in the shipping process to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve accuracy.

Stay updated on the latest shipping trends, tools, and technologies to streamline operations.

Qualifications:

PHD degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).

8+ years of experience in ecommerce shipping, logistics, or a similar role.

Familiarity with ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce) and shipping software (e.g., ShipStation, Shippo).

Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations and practices.

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and familiarity with inventory management systems.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.
