Who We’re Looking For
Our client, a US-based Wellness company, is seeking a technically skilled leader to enhance their online eCommerce experiences. This role manages the entire lifecycle of eCommerce initiatives, focusing on their Shopify platform and optimizing performance on channels like Amazon and other marketplaces. The Website Lead/Manager will oversee daily management and improvements to drive engagement and conversions, collaborating with partners and internal teams to implement new features and track performance. They will implement website enhancements within their Shopify theme and work with developers and UX agencies while utilizing Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager for tracking and insights. Additionally, the manager will handle integrations, updates, and deployments to ensure a consistent online experience, maintaining strong troubleshooting skills and attention to design principles. Responsibilities:
- Oversee all improvements, optimizations, and daily management across Shopify and support Amazon to drive user engagement, conversions, and sales
- Optimize the website for mobile, SEO, and conversion, ensuring a seamless, high-quality user and customer experience.
- Develop and execute strategies for consistent branding and sales growth across all eCommerce channels, including product listings, A+ content, and visually appealing assets
- Actively drive regular campaigns, promotions, and offers onsite in collaboration with the marketing team
- Lead CRO initiatives using campaign landing pages, A/B testing, personalization, and heat mapping tools to improve site performance and engagement
- Oversee and manage website operations, including regular updates, content changes, and enhancements to ensure optimal performance and uptime
- Conduct testing and quality assurance on all website updates, ensuring seamless user experience across deployments
- Collaborate with external developers and app vendors to implement code and app-based solutions
- Modify and troubleshoot custom Shopify theme code to align with brand standards and maintain site functionality
- Manage the integration of third-party apps and tools to enhance functionality and track updates to maintain transparency
- Utilize Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for accurate tracking, event setup, and data analysis
- Track and analyze key performance metrics on Shopify and Amazon, identifying opportunities to drive revenue and improve conversions
- Ensure updates and enhancements align with best practices in web design and user experience, maintaining site speed, responsiveness, and brand consistency
Requirements
- 3-5+ years in website management, ideally in a Shopify environment
- multi-channel eCommerce management, including Shopify and Amazon, along with proficiency in using analytics tools to optimize each channel’s performance.
- Proficient in Shopify and other eCommerce platforms (e.g., Amazon)
- Strong technical skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify’s Liquid language
- Understanding of design principles and their impact on user experience (UX)
- Skilled in data-driven decision-making with tools like Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager
- Experience managing website updates and version control in fast-paced settings
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and implement custom solutions in Shopify
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solver with a proactive approach
- Effective communicator who can work cross-functionally and manage external relationships
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Shopify Plus is a bonus
