Job Description

Wood is currently recruiting for an Electronic PTW Implementation Project Manager with previous experience of EPTW implementation in the oil and gas industry.

This position is located onshore in Equatorial Guinea with offshore and site visits, the working rotation is 10 weeks on / 3 weeks off. The assignment is for a 12 month duration.

Required to Project Manage the development and implementation of an Electronic Permit To Work system (E-PTW), including the supporting IT infrastructure installation and integration into existing IT systems.

Lead a multi discipline team of SME’s in customization of the E-PTW system to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the E-PTW project remains on schedule, on budget and effective for current and future operations
  • Focal point for all project related activities
  • Deliver an E-PTW system that is aligned with the Responsible Operations Management System. (ROMS) and the Safe Work Permitting procedure and all supporting documentation
  • Incorporate industry best practice in to the E-PTW system.
  • Develop and maintain a multi disciplinary team of internal/external SME’s/project team members.
  • Liaise with IT team to ensure integration of new system into the infrastructure, including links to existing systems that will support the new E-PTW system
  • Develop a project risk management register and champion the mitigation of these risks
  • Analyze data and use metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement related to the project scope
  • Provide written and verbal reports and present information to senior leaders and stakeholder teams.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of commissioning and training procedures and plans for the project

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Equivalent degree and/or relevant technical trainings/qualifications

Industry Experience And Knowledge

  • Demonstrate previous successful delivery of projects within the O&G sector
  • Operational knowledge of electronic and or paper based PTW systems
  • Previous experience of E-PTW implementation.
  • Understanding of Maintenance Planning and Scheduling.
  • Strong knowledge of the oil and gas industry and its safety standards and regulations
  • Experience in project management and implementing technological solutions.
  • Understanding of project risk management and the ability to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ability to analyze data and use metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing project requirements and timelines.
  • Ability to manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
  • Experience in developing implementation and commissioning plans for projects
  • Experience in development and implementation of training plans for projects/systems

PC Application Skills

  • IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams also report writing and delivering presentations
