Email Marketing Operations Associate (Remote)

Baum Capital Partners is a leading private equity firm focused on building operationally excellent companies in partnership with inspired founders and managers of private businesses throughout the United States. We are seeking a highly skilled and data-driven Email Marketing Operations Associate to join our team. This role is critical in driving lead generation, engagement, and overall email outreach effectiveness through continuous contact data sourcing, CRM management and outreach administration.

Responsibilities

• List Development and Management: Develop, manage and maintain email contact database for both M&A intermediaries (investment banks, brokers, deal referral sources, etc.) and proprietary investment targets, ensuring ongoing data accuracy.
• Service Provider Administration: Maintain administrative oversight of external service providers, including offshore and onshore resources, to ensure timely delivery of new contact lists and data cleansing projects.
• CRM Management: Maintain integrity of reliable contact information with CRM system to ensure seamless data flow and lead management. Ensure all investment opportunities are appropriately logged in the CRM system and are accurately classified based on deal stage.
• Email Campaign Strategy and Execution: Develop and execute targeted email marketing campaigns aligned with the fund’s business objectives and marketing strategy. This includes crafting compelling email content, designing email templates, and managing email calendars.
• Email Marketing Automation: Implement and optimize email marketing automation platforms to streamline campaign execution, lead nurturing, and personalized communication.
• Data Analysis and Optimization: Analyze email campaign performance metrics to measure ROI and identify opportunities for improvement. Leverage data insights to optimize email content, subject lines, and send times.
• Call and Meeting Scheduling: Collaborate with the fund’s outreach team to schedule phone calls and in-person meetings through direct communication with contacts and potential investment targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field
• 2-5 years of experience in email marketing, with a proven track record of success in driving results
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies
• Proficiency in email marketing automation platforms (e.g., Klayvio, MailChimp, Constant Contact etc.)
• Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho etc.)
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in managing internal and external resources to drive results
• Ability to identify opportunities for the use of technology to accelerate or automate target list building, email outreach and database administration
• Prior experience in private equity, investment banking or B2B financial services is a plus, but not required
