Position Overview: They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Engagement Manager to join their team. As an Engagement Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading client engagements, managing project teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality consulting services. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, project management skills, and deep expertise in the life sciences industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business challenges and objectives, and develop tailored consulting solutions to meet their needs.
- Oversee project teams, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to consultants and analysts.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to inform strategic recommendations and deliverables.
- Present findings and recommendations to clients, ensuring clarity, relevance, and actionable insights.
- Contribute to business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, and participating in client pitches.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the value we provide to our clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, PhD, or MD) preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in management consulting, with a focus on life sciences or healthcare.
- Proven track record of successfully leading client engagements and managing project teams.
- Deep understanding of the life sciences industry, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, and healthcare.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities, with the ability to distil complex concepts into clear and actionable insights.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships at all levels of an organisation.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving impact and delivering value to clients.
