About the Role 

The Business Engagement and Planning Specialist (Lead) will create and manage strong stakeholder relationships with various CleanCo Business Units to facilitate the improved alignment between Business Unit needs and Information & Communication Technology (ICT) team. It is a key role that facilitates technology-business partnering within CleanCo Queensland and helps ensure technology investments are aligned to both Business Drivers and Vision and the Technology Strategy. 

The Business Engagement & Planning Specialist (Lead) will be responsible for the successful engagement with key business stakeholders and managing business unit portfolios for technology investment.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity based in our Brisbane office with the flexibility to work from home.

About you

• Tertiary Degree or Diploma in Business Systems or Information Technology or equivalent substantial industry experience.
• Proven expertise in building and maintaining strong relationships between IT and business stakeholders, fostering collaboration and ensuring that IT investment is aligned to business needs
• Demonstrated experience implementing business planning processes for technology services within a complex, distributed organisation.
• Proven track record of identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and delivering effective change.
• Demonstrated experience in both strategic and operational business engagement roles.
• Disciplined approach to problem solving and an ability to critically assess a range of information to understand and interpret business needs of solutions.
• Highly developed communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of a range of project approaches and methodologies e.g., PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile
• High level interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience in presentation, consultation, negotiation and change management including the ability to lead consultative and working groups
• Demonstrated experience implementing changes to partnering approaches and stakeholder management processes with successful results.
• Experience in working in a dynamic and complex change or outsourced environment.
