Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Proxy Infrastructure Engineering Lead.

Your mission is to elevate SOAX into the most reliable and innovative data extraction platform, ensuring best-in-class uptime and minimal latency. Our proxy products are mission-critical for our customers, who prioritize high-quality, reliable solutions.

Our tech stack: Golang, MariaDB, MongoDB, Android (Java), Linux.

Key Responsibilities

• Play the key role in finding the best engineering solution for the business needs.
• Solve complicated high load (RPS) and high performance (latency) tasks with GEO distributed architecture.
• Lead, direct, and oversee engineering decisions by teammates (Golang Dev + DevOps).
• Do research and prototypes (R&D). It might be open-source or tech blog posts.
• Evaluate product requirements and find the best tech solutions for them.
• Manage technical backlog.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing C/Golang network applications (TCP/IP, TLS, HTTP, preferably proxy protocols HTTP CONNECT+Socks5).
• Expertise in troubleshooting complex technical tasks, including performance, low-level operations, and security (Concurrency, Perf tests, ACID/CAP, scalability).
• Experience in collaborating on product requirements, architecture design, and solution comparisons.
• Strong desire to become or be a subject-matter expert in Proxy, Antibot, and Data Scraping.
• Experience with Android and Security is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to understand customer requirements and develop technical solutions are valuable assets.
