90-95k – Hands-on Lead/Manager – JVM Stack

A SaaS company in Dublin is on the hunt for a Software Engineering Manager to join them!

You’ll be joining a company whose product is used by thousands across multiple countries, and they’re not done yet! Having had great success over the last number of years, they’re aiming to grow further and increase their customer reach even more!

Working with a team of engineers, product managers, designers and more, you’ll work across multiple teams and with senior stakeholders architecting new features and growing their platform. This is an environment where you’ll have the opportunity to have your voice heard and be hands on in shaping their product!

You’ll play a huge part in their technical direction. You’ll have complete ownership over your work, and you’ll be encouraged to share your opinions frequently and with none of the politics.

So, what’s next?

Well, you’ll already be an experienced Manager, experience leading teams in Java environments and Spring Boot based microservices. This is an absolute deal breaker to have JVM

In the past (or maybe right now!) you will have had experience leading a team, offering coaching/ mentorship to colleagues and be able to offer guidance around their growth. When collaborating with Product Designers, you’ll understand what’s feasible and scalable for the application, and will also be confident architecting new components for their product. Experience working on scalable applications and various payment process integrations will be hugely beneficial here, as is solid knowledge of software design patterns.
