We are looking for Engineering Manager – with details as follows :

The Job :
Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Manager to oversee the design and development of our toy products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in product development and project management within the toy industry.

Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of toy design projects.

Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team.

Design Collaboration: Work closely with designers, architects, and engineers to develop innovative toy concepts.

Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products meet high-quality standards and comply with safety regulations.

Supplier Coordination: Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions.

Client Communication : Maintain strong communication with clients, including presenting design proposals and progress reports.

Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation within the engineering department.

Education: Tertiary education in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering management within the toy industry.

Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Chinese & Mandarin

Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Terms & Benefits : 5 days work; Sat am work-from-home; 13 months salary + performance bonus

Work location : work based in Hong Kong office with some trips to Shenzhen factory
