Job Description:We are hiring a remote Engineering Project Auditor to independently monitor and evaluate the performance of our engineering department. This role will ensure that projects are executed efficiently, budgets are adhered to, and team performance meets expectations. The position acts as a checkpoint and submits detailed reports to the CEO, serving as the CEO’s representative without direct interaction with the internal team.

Responsibilities:1. Project Oversight:

• Monitor the progress and quality of ongoing projects, ensuring timely completion.
• Verify corrective works (e.g., facade corrections) and adherence to project plans.
• Check compliance with architectural and structural designs.

2. Budget Monitoring:

• Audit material and labor estimates to ensure cost-efficiency.
• Verify vendor pricing and service provider charges to avoid overspending.
• Ensure project budgets are utilized appropriately without wastage.

3. Quality Assurance:

• Conduct regular audits of construction quality and materials used.
• Flag non-compliance issues and suggest corrective actions to maintain standards.
• Prepare detailed reports on weekly quality checks and submit them to the CEO.

4. Team Performance Audit:

• Evaluate the performance of site engineers and the engineering team based on progress, adherence to timelines, and quality of work.
• Highlight inefficiencies and provide actionable feedback.

5. Reporting and Accountability:

• Submit weekly and monthly reports to the CEO, summarizing:
• Project progress and delays.
• Budget utilization and cost analysis.
• Quality check results.
• Team performance and accountability metrics.
• Serve as the CEO’s proxy, ensuring the engineering team operates effectively and adheres to standards.

6. Recruitment Assistance:

• Assist the CEO in hiring engineers, consultants, or contractors as needed.
• Evaluate candidates’ qualifications and fit for the organization.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in construction project management, quality control, or engineering audits.
• Strong knowledge of material estimation, vendor management, and construction standards.
• Proficient in preparing and analyzing budgets and schedules.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and remotely, with occasional site visits.

Work Mode:

• Location: Remote with occasional site visits

Reporting: Weekly dashboard reports to the CEO.
