Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and milestones.
- Lead project teams in the execution of engineering tasks, ensuring project objectives are met.
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Foster a collaborative environment, ensuring effective communication and coordination between all team members.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities for team members.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and minimizing deviations.
- Identify and allocate resources efficiently, managing manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Anticipate and proactively identify potential risks to project timelines, costs, or scope.
- Develop and implement mitigation plans to address potential issues and ensure project success.
- Ensure all engineering work meets established standards, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Review technical documentation, engineering designs, and prototypes to ensure compliance with requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between upper management, and the project team.
- Provide regular updates on project status, including progress, challenges, and financial tracking.
- Manage internal expectations and maintain strong relationships to ensure satisfaction.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to assess project success, identify areas for improvement, and implement lessons learned into future projects.
- Must exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality with regard to all company information.
- Completion of all required trainings as designated by the company and accreditation/licensing entities.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Education, Licensure, & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering project management or a related field.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering engineering projects on time and within budget
Preferred
- Experience in Design Engineering, Engineering Project Management and Construction Site Methods.
- Knowledge of engineering and construction industry standards, building codes and regulations, and safety practices relevant to the engineering/construction sector

- Strong technical understanding of engineering principles and construction practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in engineering project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, Smartsheet’s, Procore).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle a crisis and or potential risk situation and react appropriately
- A working knowledge of federal and state standards as well as regulating body and compliance standards.
Physical Demands
The physical requirements for this role include sitting constantly, with occasional standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching. Climbing primarily involves stair use, while work on ladders, squatting, kneeling, and crawling are rare. The role requires frequent twisting, constant use of a keyboard, wrist flexion/extension, fine manipulation, and operating foot controls. Low-level vibrations may be experienced, and lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling involve weights up to 15 lbs.
Work Environment
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet & indoors. This position will require local travel. This position will be scheduled based on operational need & will be required to provide own transportation. Incumbent may be exposed to virus, disease, and/or infection from clients in the work environment. Incumbent may be exposed to traumatic situations (i.e. psychiatric).
- Remote Office-based with occasional project/construction site visits depending on the nature of the project.
