- Responsibilities will include prospecting new business and partnering with the sales development representative (SDR) to build out qualified leads
- You will develop a strong understanding of key differentiator, internal / external systems, sales methodologies and processes
- Close deals – involved with all aspects of deals including price and term negotiations management of the entire sales cycle (drive revenue within a specific region)
- Responsible for selling the company’s products or services to new accounts with 1,500+ total employees.
- Have thorough knowledge of 8×8’s products/services.
- Identifies customer needs and determines optimal company products & services to effectively address customer’s needs.
- Develops account specific plans to optimize sales through successful execution of account strategy. Identifies and resolves customer issues/problems by providing appropriate resources and/or materials to address problem/issue.
- Updates customer information in company system.
- Responsible for meeting/exceeding assigned revenue targets
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of mid-market and enterprise sales experience selling direct and through channel partners
- Experience selling Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS), SaaS and Cloud Contact Center Solutions
- Experience managing relationships with demonstrated ability of closing deals and working directly with customers
- Demonstrated ability to accurately manage a multi-channel pipeline and forecast in Salesforce.com
- Collaborative, solutions, consultative selling
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a high-growth environment.
- Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles and decision-making processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and other senior stakeholders.
