Erp Developer (Remote)

We are seeking a skilled ERP Developer with expertise in ERPNext or with experience in other ERP systems integration to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for customizing, enhancing, and maintaining our ERPNext system to meet the organization’s specific operational needs. This role requires in-depth technical knowledge of ERPNext, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for optimizing business processes through technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• ERPNext Customization: Customize and extend the ERPNext modules based on business requirements (Finance, Inventory, HR, Sales, etc.).

• Development & Integration: Design, develop, and implement custom scripts, modules, and applications in ERPNext. Integrate third-party tools and APIs with ERPNext to extend its functionality.

• System Maintenance: Ensure smooth operation, upgrades, and troubleshooting of ERPNext. Apply patches, updates, and manage data migrations.

• Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions within ERPNext.

• Process Automation: Identify opportunities for workflow automation within the ERP system and develop corresponding solutions.

• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for all customizations and integrations.

• Testing & Debugging: Test, debug, and resolve issues in ERPNext. Ensure that the system meets performance and security standards.

• Training & Support: Provide technical support to end-users, conduct system training, and troubleshoot user issues related to ERPNext.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience: Proven experience in ERPNext or other ERP systems development and customization (minimum 2-3 years preferred).

• Technical Skills:

o Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, SQL and Linux.

o Experience with Frappe Framework and its development environment.

o Familiarity with HTML/CSS, Jinja, and Bootstrap.

o Understanding of RESTful APIs and web service integrations.

o Experience with Git for version control.

o Familiarity with server management, deployment tools, and database optimization.

• Other Requirements:

o Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business processes into system workflows.

o Experience in ERP implementation, especially ERPNext.

o Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with various teams.

o Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ERP systems in industries such as Software Development.

• Knowledge of accounting principles, inventory management, or supply chain processes.
