Job Summary
ROI is a team of experienced professionals dedicated to helping our customers effectively integrate technology, people, and processes to achieve optimal adoption, utilization, and business performance. Together, we help our Infor customers connect and improve business functions in the areas of finance, supply chain management, talent management, and business intelligence.
The ERP Sr. Consultant, Project Management, leads the ROI project team and customer resources. They are responsible for setting and driving project goals and objectives to solve problems, create value, improve growth, and maximize business efficiency and profitability through the configuration and use of technology. They partner with the customer’s project team to leverage Infor solutions. The successful candidate should have strong leadership skills in project executions and have experience with managing large projects. The ERP Sr. Consultant, Project Management, leads clients, advising them how to use information technology to meet business objectives or overcome problems, and works to improve the structure and efficiency of technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Provides guidance in the completion of project management tasks and deliverables; mentors those in Project Coordinator role
- Contributes to proposals, presentations, and other business development activities as a subject matter expert
- Leads project teams, influence and control the success of the implementation by being trusted advisors, fostering a positive, energetic environment and clearly defining expectations and tasks
- Provides leadership in the completion of project management tasks and deliverables
- Project managers must proactively look forward, anticipate issues, and manage expectations, internally and externally.
- Conducts day to day client communications and meetings; leads presentations to facilitate continuous improvement efforts within the implementation timeline
- Manages multiple, parallel projects using formal guidelines and techniques, and drives tasks to completion
- Manages and monitors the execution of system testing, integration testing, and drives resolution of errors and issues
- Participates in and/or conducts Interviews to gather, analyze and document information and business requirements
- Identifies potential business opportunities and notifies Director of Business Development and VP of Strategic Services
- Demonstrates strong work ethic and ownership of work products; possesses ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment where Project Manager has built credibility and trust by promoting transparency.
- Align with the ROI Processes and Project Methodology for managing projects
- Participate in project audits and phase gates to ensure compliance with project plans, budgets, and timelines.
- Lead and facilitate project close meetings to gather information on lessons learned, what went right, what could use improvements, and to assess the project budget to determine if the initial estimate was correct.
- Raise red flags and facilitate dialogue that transforms “issues” into concrete plans.
- Listen. Learn. And Consult. This is a client facing role, interacting directly and frequently with the client, Infor, and outside business collaborators. Represent team effectively by establishing leading practices, avoiding slippage, and mitigating risks
- Contribute to ROI Thought Leadership
Basic ROI Performance Criteria
- Ensure all project documentation is updated utilizing defined ROI templates and stored in the appropriate location within 2 business days of creation to support a seamless project audit
- Reviews weekly status reports, approves timesheets, creates Project Client Status Report to be delivered and presented weekly
- Adhere to time requirements by submitting weekly time records by 5:00 PM EST Saturday for the week work was performed
- Utilize remote work collaboration tools (Teams, etc.) for communication with other team members and clients, being logged in and available from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM in your respective time zone, or the time zone of your assigned client
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and ownership of work products and work in a fast-paced, team environment
- Maintains regular, consistent attendance and open communication with Project Managers and Director
- Completes all annual education/competency requirements; demonstrates ROI core values, adheres to policies and procedures
- Targets being 85 percent billable; able to travel 5-10 percent of the time
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years ERP-based consulting or equivalent work experience desired
- Previous experience leading an Infor CloudSuite implementation
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree (or equivalent); PMP certification
- Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and ERP Solutions; expert knowledge of MS Project and of PMBOK
- Willingness to lead and participate in presentations and learning opportunities with functional and technical teams
- Ability to work to ensure customer satisfaction through quality and consistent execution of the ROI methodology
- Ability to identify items that may exceed the defined project scope and present to project leadership
- Understands latest industry trends and correlates them to existing service offerings
- Maintains advanced knowledge of project management processes and tasks including budgeting and reporting
- Has an advanced level of understanding of analytical tools and uses these to put together reports and analysis as needed
