Your future tasks

• In this position you will design, implement, and manage the company’s compliance programs, policies, and procedures and ensure the compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• You will conduct regular reviews and updates of compliance policies and procedures and develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on compliance and ethical standards.
• Provide guidance and support to employees on compliance-related matters is one of your tasks.
• Furthermore, you will foster a culture of ethics and compliance within the organization and conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; develop and implement corrective action plans is part of your job.
• You will monitor and report on the effectiveness of compliance efforts and lead investigations into allegations of non-compliance or unethical behavior.
• You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and detailed records of compliance activities and investigations as well as report findings and recommendations to senior management and regulatory bodies as required.
• Additionally, you are going to identify and assess compliance risks associated with the company’s activities and develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• You will monitor changes in laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance and promote and uphold the company’s ethical standards and values.
• Supporting the development and maintenance of corporate governance policies as well as collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with ethical and compliance standards rounds off your range of tasks.

YOU AS A PERSON

• Master of Laws, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Advanced degree or certification in compliance (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional – CCEP) is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a compliance, ethics, or regulatory role.
• Experience in developing and implementing compliance programs is highly desirable.
• GDPR and data Privacy knowledge and experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High ethical standards and integrity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to influence and manage change within an organization.
• Proficiency in compliance management software and tools.
• Fluency in English and German. Additional language skills are a plus.
