Introduct Tech welcomes talented professionals to join our challenging and dynamic European project in Logistics Industry. We are looking for passionate, innovative, results-oriented specialist with heart-deep commitment to success to be a part of our international company.

The project itself is end-to-end platform for managing routes, inventory, pricing, reservations and distribution of rail and bus tickets in Europe.

This is one of the most interesting and just not very standard projects that we have had to deal with lately.

We are seeking a highly skilled ETL/Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable ETL pipelines and data storage solutions. You will work with various tools and technologies including Pentaho, Jenkins, Oracle, Postgres, and Python, and contribute to the development of data models that support both manual data adjustments and automated reporting through tools like Tableau.

Requirements

• Python: Strong programming skills for developing custom scripts, automating processes, and building tools (experience with Streamlit or similar frameworks is a plus).
• Experience setting up scalable ETL pipelines that can handle different job requirements and VMs.
• ETL: Strong experience with ETL tools like Pentaho (or similar) and Jenkins for orchestration.
• Database Management: Expertise in Oracle and Postgres database setup, tuning, and management.
• Data Modeling: Ability to design and implement data models that support both manual data enrichment and reporting.
• Familiarity with Tableau for dashboard creation, reporting, and integration with data systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable ETL solutions using Pentaho and Jenkins for job orchestration.
• Develop and optimize ETL processes to handle increasing numbers of jobs or use independent VMs for groups of jobs based on customer requirements.
• Set up and manage databases (Oracle, Postgres) for efficient data storage and retrieval, ensuring the system can support both manual and automated data processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and create data models that support manual value adjustments or enrichment with XLS files.
• Develop database views for Tableau dashboards, enabling advanced reporting and visualization.
• Build a web-based GUI (Streamlit or similar) to facilitate user interaction and data adjustments.
• Ensure system scalability, reliability, and performance while adhering to best practices in data engineering.

Nice to have

• Experience working in an on-premise stack.
• Familiarity with automation tools for deployment and maintenance of ETL pipelines.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure and tools is a plus (though the primary focus is on-premise solutions).
