What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Develop comprehensive event action plans, including strategies, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of events
• Collaborate on contract negotiations and statements of work (SOWs) with procurement
• Oversee event setup, execution, and teardown, addressing any issues that arise promptly
• Conduct post-event analysis on key metrics to assess success and areas for improvement

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning and tradeshow management
• Proven track record of managing successful corporate events and tradeshows
• Strong project management skills
• Willingness to travel 25% to 35% of the time

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience in the biotechnology, diagnostics, or healthcare sector
• Knowledge of current event trends and best practices
• Certification in event planning (CMP, CSEP, etc.)
