- A relevant degree qualification in business, analytics or project management, or the equivalent combination of qualifications and experience
- Demonstrated expertise and extensive experience in providing high level executive support
- Experience in quality document creation and preparation of high-level reports
- Proven success in coordinating the activities of a high performing team within a large organisation
- Current Victorian Working with Children Clearance
- Current Police Check (not older than 12 months old)
- Current Driver’s Licence (travel between campuses is a requirement of the role)

About the role
Reporting directly to the Director Academic Governance, the Executive Support Officer is responsible for managing the financial, administration, project management and support functions for the Director Student Experience and the Director Academic Governance. The Executive Support Officer provides effective planning and management of resources and operations to enable the achievement of key strategic and operational priorities. The Executive Support Officer provides a research and analytical support function to the ELT and produces high level reports which effectively synthesise and interpret relevant information. The Executive Support Officer develops sound relationships with the Executive and Leadership teams and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaborative working relationships across functions. The Executive Support Officer provides end-to-end project management and ensures optimal operations of all office administration processes and systems including diary management for the ELT.
About you
You are a highly organised, self-motivated and results oriented professional with the ability to autonomously plan, implement and report on deliverables. You have a demonstrated high level of organisation capability, including the ability to establish and maintain effective systems, procedures and processes and manage competing demands and deadlines without compromising on quality. You have exceptional verbal and written communication and editorial skills with the demonstrated ability to establish and maintain mutually beneficial relationships and partnerships with people at all levels. You have advanced computer skills and substantial experience in utilising a broad range of systems and software. You have outstanding project management skills along with the ability to negotiate complex issues and manage change effectively. You have the ability to think strategically, contribute effectively to strategic planning processes and operationalise strategy.
