Position Overview
Reporting to the Senior Director of Corporate Communications, the Executive Visibility Communications Manager is responsible for positioning the company’s executives as industry thought leaders and innovative thinkers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the pharmacy benefits management (PBM) industry and be willing to quickly learn RxBenefits’ value proposition, brand positioning, and messaging.
Responsibilities:
Program Transition: Facilitate the transition of the executive social media program from an external agency to in-house management.
Content Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with marketing colleagues, internal SMEs, and company executives to develop executive content pillars and a content calendar
Executive Content Creation: Develop and manage content for executive visibility, including social posts, long-form articles, videos, op-eds, award submissions, and speaking engagement materials, incorporating each executives’ individual tone.
Social Media Management: Oversee the executive social media program from curation (monitoring news media, publications, organizations, influencers) to developing, reviewing, scheduling, and publishing social posts.
Project Management: Leverage Asana and our CRM to schedule and manage all projects to deliver against deadlines with high quality
Collaboration: Partner with the brand social media manager to develop and manage the corporate social calendar, ensuring seamless cross-posting between executives and the brand.
Brand Support: Assist in creating corporate brand social media posts and maintaining the brand social calendar.
CRM Proficiency: Utilize CRM platforms (currently Hootsuite) for scheduling and publishing executive posts.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in journalism, communications, or a related field
- Minimum three years of pharmacy/PBM experience
- 7-10 years of experience in executive visibility, thought leadership, content development, and social media
- Strong executive presence, collaboration skills, and relationship-building expertise
- Exceptional storytelling, narrative, and creative writing skills
- Proficiency in writing high-performing content across channels and formats
- Strong project management, collaboration, and communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of AP style and the ability to adapt to brand style quickly
- Comfortable with using multimedia content
- Familiarity with virtual meeting and webinar hosting platforms (Teams, GoToMeeting, Zoom, GoToWebinar, ON24).
- Ability to post content to SlideShare, YouTube, and other social channels.
- Understanding of AI tools for content development.
Software Proficiency:
- Basic knowledge of CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress)
- Familiarity with virtual meeting and webinar hosting platforms (Teams, GoToMeeting, Zoom, GoToWebinar, ON24)
- Ability to post content to SlideShare, YouTube, and other social channels
- Understanding of AI tools for content development
Based on relevant market data and other factors, the anticipated hiring range for this role is $96,000 – $120,000 annually. Final compensation rates will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, and internal equity considerations. This role is also short-term incentive eligible. Incentive amounts will vary by individual and business goals.
