Expert Project Manager For Engineering Design (Remote)

We are in search of a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our Engineering Application Services team in a fully remote capacity. This 12-month contract position is primarily focused on enhancing the efficiency and organization of engineering and design projects. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing various technical projects while also developing and refining essential guidelines and workflows that elevate engineering design and Computer-Aided Design (CADD) processes, significantly impacting transportation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Decompose complex technical projects into clearly defined, manageable tasks with well-established scope and deliverables.
• Prioritize and monitor the progression of work items to guarantee timely delivery of high-quality, client-ready outputs.
• Create, document, and sustain CADD guidelines and workflows for use across the department, supporting systems such as Bentley and others.
• Collaborate with clients to synchronize business processes, ensuring smooth project execution.
• Design and deliver training materials to empower stakeholders with the skills to optimize workflow efficiency.
• Maintain and update the project task register to ensure precise tracking of all project deliverables and uphold quality control standards.

Required Skills

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in application development life cycles.
• Familiarity with engineering design processes and lifecycle business models is preferred.
• Knowledge of AGILE development methodology to facilitate streamlined project execution is also preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project management, particularly within engineering or design contexts.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
