Overview: The Marketing Manager role at GuidePoint Security is a step up from the Marketing Specialist position, focusing on strategic oversight and enhanced execution of marketing initiatives within the Federal Region. This position will report to the Federal Region and will be responsible for both the strategic and operational aspects of marketing activities.
Primarily remote work but must be local to the DC Metro area.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company objectives and regional sales goals.
- Oversee the creation and execution of the Federal marketing plan in collaboration with the Partner, Technical and Sales team.
- Lead the design, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns, including digital, email (Marketo), and social media campaigns.
- Enhance partner engagement through strategic campaigns using co-sponsored materials and tools.
- Manage larger scale or multiple regional events, ensuring strategic alignment, budget management, and ROI.
- Oversee logistics, from venue selection to post-event analysis, focusing on events across the United States (including travel to location).
- Mentor and manage the Marketing Event Manager, providing guidance on daily tasks and long-term projects.
- Foster a collaborative environment with sales and other marketing team members to ensure cohesive efforts.
- Deep dive into analytics to assess campaign performance, lead funnel efficacy, and overall marketing ROI.
- Produce detailed reports on campaign outcomes, suggest improvements, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Oversee the creation, approval, and distribution of marketing materials, ensuring brand consistency and quality.
- Manage inventory and distribution logistics through fulfillment houses.
- Advanced use of Marketo for automation, lead management, and campaign tracking.
- Ensure integration and accuracy between Marketo and Salesforce for campaign data.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role.
- Proven experience in managing high-level marketing campaigns and events.
- Expert level in Marketo, Salesforce, G Suite, and advanced spreadsheet capabilities.
- Strong data analytics skills to drive decision-making.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and planning abilities.
- Strong leadership qualities with experience in team management.
- Excellent communication skills for internal team collaboration and external stakeholder engagement.
- Candidates in the Washington DC metro area are preferred and travel to events when necessary.
- Up to 30% travel might be required for regional oversight and national events.
Position Details:
- Full-time, remote position with local event management responsibilities.
- Reports to the VP of Federal Strategy.
