What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Conduct quality assurance reviews on Public Assistance grant applications for disaster recovery projects
• Review Damage Description and Dimension (DDD), Scope of Work (SOW), and Cost Estimates for accuracy and proper documentation
• Attend daily stand-up meetings and prepare required reports on project progress
• Ensure compliance with the Public Assistance Program and Policy Guide (PAPPG)
• Utilize the Grants Manager system to track actions and collect project-related information

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• BA/BS degree and 4+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain DHS Public Trust
• FEMA PA and/or Consolidated Resource Center (CRC) experience
• Completion certificates for specific security/privacy courses required with application
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience in customer service with effective communication skills
• Familiarity with multiple Public Assistance assignments, including at least one CRC assignment
• Background in quality assurance/management, construction management, or engineering
• Current DHS Public Trust clearance/badge
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Google Earth
