About the job
We are seeking an experienced Field Sales Executive to join our team and drive the promotion and sales of our curriculum products to schools, distributors, and educational institutions. If you have a successful track record in B2B sales, especially within the education industry, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Regularly visits school owners, principals, administrators, and trustees to demo Meritus products to build a strong pipeline.
- Sales Presentations: Deliver engaging and persuasive presentations to school administrators and key decision-makers, showcasing the value of our curriculum solutions.
- Consultative Selling: Analyze the specific needs of schools or distributors and offer tailored solutions to address their challenges.
- Relationship Building: Establish and nurture long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders to foster trust and drive repeat business.
- Negotiation & Closing: Overcome objections and successfully negotiate contracts with prospects, leading to closure of deals.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Training & Support: Provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to educators on effectively implementing our curriculum products.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Maintain detailed records of sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts in soft form.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customer satisfaction through post-sales support, maintaining long-term relationships with key clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3 -5 years of experience
- Proven track record of B2B sales success, preferably within the education industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong ability to close deals and deliver results.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
