Field Service Technician (Remote)

To strengthen our team, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Fieldservice Technician.

How you will make a difference

• Service Execution: Perform service tasks, liaise with subcontractors, and coordinate their tasks, ensuring all activities are properly recorded and meet customer needs.

• Customer-Centric Approach: Define and document service workflows based on customer requirements and make this information available to the sales engineer.

• Tool Provision: Ensure the availability, quality, and compliance of tools required for service activities.

• Strategy Support: Contribute to developing and implementing short- and medium-term service sales strategies for both existing and potential customers, in collaboration with the Sales and Service Manager.

• Data and Forecasting: Assist the sales engineer in preparing monthly and quarterly service demand forecasts.
• Customer Engagement: Collect customer service requirements, engage in discussions to assess specific needs, and monitor competitive market conditions.

What you should be good at

• Technical Background: Completion of technical school, with 3-5 years of experience in engine or heavy-duty industrial equipment service. 

• Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, and a valid driving license. (Forklift and crane license are optional but advantageous.) 

• Teamwork: Strong communication skills, team orientation, independence, and organizational abilities. 

• Language: Fluent in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in German is preferred.
