Finance Manager (Remote)

Job Title:  Finance Manager

Reporting: Finance Head

Location: WFH (Visit Sohna Warehouse 1-2 times a week)

We are seeking a diligent & detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee our Accounts Receivable operations along with other things. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the receivables process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including variance analysis and actionable insights for management.

Cost Accounting:

• Analyze and monitor manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead.
• Calculate cost of goods manufactured (COGM) and cost of goods sold (COGS) to support pricing strategies.
• Conduct cost variance analysis, comparing budgeted costs to actual costs, and report on significant discrepancies.
• Implement and manage standard costing systems for accurate cost tracking.

Assist in GST Output Return Filing and Reconciliations:

• Prepare and file GST output returns accurately and timely in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Reconcile sales transactions, GST liabilities, and input tax credits to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate for GST audits, assessments, and reconciliations.

Compliance & Audit:

• Ensure timely and accurate filing of TDS, and other statutory taxes.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate smooth audits and resolve discrepancies.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, providing input on cost and financial projections.
• Monitor budget utilization and provide insights for strategic financial planning.

Coordinate with Sales and Customer Service Teams:

• Collaborate with sales and customer service departments to ensure billing accuracy, resolve billing disputes, and address customer inquiries.
• Maintain strong communication channels to facilitate smooth invoicing processes and timely collections.

Manage the Finance Team:

• Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Ensure team compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing work culture within the Accounts Receivable department.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA/CMA INTER OR FINAL.
2. 5 years of experience in overall accounting, finance and taxation.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
4. Experience with ERP systems, financial software, and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
6. Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
7. Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
