Financial Operations Specialist (Remote)

FINANCIAL OPERATIONS SPECIALIST RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will work remotely to support our client’s financial processes and operations. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate closely with the client’s CEO and other stakeholders through digital platforms, ensuring smooth and efficient financial management across locations.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Maintaining accurate financial records by tracking bank accounts, invoices, and payments via online platforms.
• Preparing monthly financial statements, including cash flow reports and balance sheets.
• Reconciling accounts payable/receivable ledgers to ensure accuracy.
• Assisting with payroll processing and tax return preparation as needed.
• Collaborating virtually with external vendors to resolve invoicing discrepancies.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Minimum of three years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, preferably in a virtual setting.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and the MS Office Suite.
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP principles.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Relevant experience in virtual bookkeeping and accounting functions.
• Bachelor’s degree or certification in accounting or finance (preferred).
