Perfect timing! We’re looking for a Floriculture Market Manager. In this role, you will have a liaison role between the various commercial teams, in order to analyze markets and collaborate on the development of marketing and sales strategies to achieve the established objectives.
Overview Of The Work
- Develop marketing strategies to achieve corporate objectives. This includes market segmentation, product positioning and the definition of unique value propositions;
- Monitor various markets to identify trends, opportunities, threats and consumer needs;
- Participate in the design and implementation of marketing and promotional campaigns to stimulate demand;
- Collaborate in product lifecycle management, from design to end-of-life;
- Train on market characteristics and appropriate tactics when required;
- Monitor performance using key performance indicators (KPIs);
- Act as conduit between different functions to ensure all parties are informed of activities within market sector.
Specific Market Qualifications
- Knowledge and culture of most popular varieties in the floriculture market;
- Understanding of the differences between box store, IGC and grower retail markets and their buying strategy for each segment;
- Familiar with the market seasonality by geographical region.
General Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or marketing;
- At least 10 years’ experience in a commercial business function;
- Ability to work with different personality types and adapt to specific audiences;
- Good analytical skills and sound judgment;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
- Proximity to an airport.
