Job Title: Remote Flutter Engineer

Location: Remote (Los Angeles, CA Preferred)

Travel Requirement: Out-of-state candidates must be willing to travel to LA once a month for 2-3 days (accommodations in Airbnb provided).

Compensation: $170,000 + Bonus

As we continue to expand, we’re searching for a highly skilled Flutter Engineer who brings deep expertise in both Flutter and Dart, with a passion for building elegant, performant, and scalable applications.

Role Overview

As a Remote Flutter Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to create seamless and engaging user experiences. This role offers the flexibility of working remotely, but we value in-person collaboration and expect out-of-state hires to join us in Los Angeles once a month.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and back-end engineers to define app requirements and refine features.
• Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain high-quality standards.
• Stay current with industry trends, Flutter/Dart advancements, and best practices.
• Participate in monthly team gatherings in Los Angeles to foster collaboration and team cohesion.

Requirements

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong focus on mobile development.
• Proven experience with Flutter and Dart.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, version control (Git), and modern software development practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working in fast-growing teams or startup environments is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel to Los Angeles once a month for team meetings.
