Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems.
• Implement and optimize APIs for seamless integration.
• Ensure database design and management for high availability.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to define and implement features.
• Establish best practices for backend development and deployment.
• Monitor system performance; troubleshoot and optimize as needed.
• Develop and maintain microservices architecture.
• Contribute to system architecture decisions and tech stack evaluations.
• Implement security practices throughout the application lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews, contributing to team skill development.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
• Proven experience in backend development (3+ years).
• Strong expertise in RESTful API development.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated experience in performance tuning and optimization.
• Knowledge of application security best practices.
