The Role:
As Leonis Enterprises’s Founding Growth Marketer, you’ll help Leonis Enterprises scale from hundreds of clients to thousands.
You Should Know:
This is the scariest role we’ll ever hire.
We’re proud to have scaled to millions in revenue and built relationships with top brokerages in the industry, Coldwell Banker, Keller Williams, Compass, and eXp Realty.
We’ve been praised on Twitter, featured in articles and podcasts, and triggered the panic of competitors an order of magnitude larger than us, who rightfully view us as an existential threat.
And we’ve done it all without even a website…
It’s time to change that.
But there’s a problem. For every other role at Leonis Enterprises, from Sales Closer to Enterprise Customer Success Manager, our CEO (Logan) or our VP of Revenue Operations (Harrison) did the job first. They hacked out the basics and handed something to the first hire when it became too big for them to keep doing it.
When it comes to cold outbound marketing/lead generation, our CEO, Logan, is a savant. But when it comes to digital marketing, brand awareness, discoverability, and demand generation across all other mediums… You will truly be the first person at Leonis to lead those areas. This is probably the only role we’ll ever hire without some kind of playbook. As a result, you need to be great, self-directed, prepared to present and defend your own strategies, and ruthless about marketing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- 📈 Marketing strategy to scale Leonis Enterprises from several hundred to several thousand clients
- 💰 Hold a marketing budget and an aggressive goal and stay accountable to it
- 🪧 Demand generation. Your primary success metric will be leads attributable to marketing
- 📺 Channel Mix: Coordinate and select Leonis Enterprises’s top channels (email, LinkedIn, Facebook, paid ads, events, webinars, podcasts, partnerships, etc)
- 🎉 In real-life events and conferences: Select the best ones and help Leonis Enterprises stand out
- 🎁 Content Marketing, SEO, Website strategy, Videos, Webinars, Paid Ads, Gifts, etc.
- 💼 Agencies / Consultants: Help us hire the best specialists to execute fast and on-budget
Required Skills / Experience:
- Scrappiness and comfort with ambiguity – throw stuff at the wall until it works
- Not your first rodeo – you don’t need 10 years of experience. But we’re expecting prior business-to-business marketing accomplishments that you’re proud of.
- Experience working in a high-growth business, ideally taking a marketing function from 0-1.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Fast learning and excellent at making complicated tasks smaller and faster.
- Extreme honesty.
- Willingness to work the weekends when push comes to shove.
- Readiness to do whatever it takes to ensure Leonis Enterprises wins
- Desire to fight for truth, justice, and the defeat of your enemies/our lazy, tired competitors
- Bonus: Experience working in the Global Outsourcing, Real Estate, or Private Equity industries.
