Your Role

As the Founding Software Engineer, you’ll own the development of the mobile app and its seamless integration with the hardware, driving an intuitive, real-time user experience. This role is equity-based, offering you the opportunity to shape the technical foundation of a high-potential AR startup.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the mobile app (iOS/Android) for real-time data display, performance tracking, and connectivity to the HUD.
• Develop and optimize the app’s UI/UX, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
• Implement Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication between hardware and software.
• Collaborate with optical and hardware engineers to ensure flawless integration and functionality.
• Build prototypes, test features, and iterate based on user feedback to refine the app’s capabilities.
• Drive decisions around app architecture and scalability for future product iterations.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of mobile app development experience (iOS/Android) with a strong portfolio of user-focused applications.
• Proficiency in BLE communication and hardware/software integration.
• Expertise in designing intuitive UI/UX for consumer-facing applications.
• Familiarity with AR, wearable technology, or HUD systems is a plus.
• A problem-solving mindset and adaptability to thrive in an early-stage startup environment.
• Passion for cycling, fitness tech, or AR innovation is a bonus.
